Remember how I am obsessed with CVS? One of the things I like to do when CVS is having an especially good sale is to hold a toiletry drive at work. My office is right across the street from a CVS, so I am happy to collect the goods if people are willing to put in the time to go shopping. Feel free to run your own drive at your workplace, or just stop by a CVS and take advantage of the deals yourself! Below is the email I sent out to my office, I hope you do the same! Don’t forget to put a location for collections down, and pick an appropriate charity in your area.

Around Thanksgiving CVS has a lot of deals that make toiletries free if you have a CVS card. I like to collect these toiletries and donate them to a women’s shelter, and the more people who help out, the better the donation is. (Each CVS card only gets you one of each item, so the more people who help out, the better!)
Here is how it works:
-You need a CVS card
-You can buy these specific goods (do not deviate from the list or they will not be free) from CVS during the designated times
-You will pay cash up front but then get CVS extra bucks back for the same amount you just paid. You can then use extra bucks like cash on your next trip to CVS
-Extrabucks expire in about a month, so make sure you use them (I keep mine in my wallet with my cash so I don’t forget them)
Here are the goods that are free from 11/23-11/26:
- cvs total home laundry detergent 20 oz $1.79 get $1.79 extra bucks
- cvs training pants trial size 2 ct $.99 get $.99 extra bucks
- cvs pantiliners 20 ct $.99 get $.99 extrabucks limit 1
- cvs ultra-soft cleansing wipes 12-20 ct $.99 get $.99 extra bucks
- green giant vegetables 11-15.25 oz $.99 get $.99 extra bucks- you can buy two!
- kraft macaroni & cheese 2.05-7.25 oz $.99 get $.99 extra bucks
- For $.50: colgate max 6 oz, total 4-4.2 oz, 2in1 4.6 oz, or optic white 3.5 oz toothpaste $2.99- print out a coupon for $2.49 off at the red machine at the front of the store
